WELLINGTON, Oct. 24. The steamer Nellore, whieh will carry Christmas parcels and delicacies to Japan for J-Foree, will also ship a quantity of furniture for the forces recreation huts. It has been collected by the National Patriptie Fund Board and t-horoughly repaired and renovated by army personnel. The cases in whieh the furniture is packed is such as ean be used for recreation room fittings. The timber was obtained from trees blown down at Burnham Camp by the storm last year. ' The shipment includes ten oilliard tables.
