DECEASED SON'S GRATUITY The gift of £202 10s, the , full amount of a gratuity received from the Defence Department on behalf of her son, Ossie, of Otaki, killed overseas on active service, has been made to the Palmerston North Hospital Board by Mrs. G. M. Pussell, who has been an inmate of hospital institutions for the past 15 years. The news of this generous gift was received at a meeting of the board in a letter from Mrs. Pussell's daughter, Mrs. M. C. Aitken, of Aokautere. The board decided to express its gratitude in a letter to Mrs. Pussell, and a sub-commit-tee is to consider means of so using the gift that the name of the donor will be perpetuated in the annals nf t.hp Ti nsnit.nl
