MARKET REPORT
Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, have much pleasure in advising that since last reporting loquats have made their appearance and sold readily. Bronze plums are avaiiable in larger quantities, values being easier. Hothouse tomatoes have improved in rates, while a good enquiry continues for tree tomatoes and passionfruit, and all varieties of citrus. Seasonal blooms have commanded keen attention, all flower auctions having large audiences. Most varieties of vegetables have also been sought, but naturally with larger supplies offering values have been easier. Only small yardings of ■ poultry have been avaiiable, prime birds being placed to advantage.
