4, As a result of the Otaki Maori Racing Club's two-day meeting the Government takes the biggest dividend, the taxation amounting to £14,586 5s. It is made up as follows: Totalisator tax, £7632 15s 6d; dividend tax, £6677 18s; stakes tax, £61; amusement tax, £214 12s; total, £14,586 5s.
