Pictures To Be Released HANGMAN'S RESIGNATION

The Allied - Control Cdulicil ih Berlin has announced thkt it is releasing to the world Press at ildbh tomorrow the official pictures of the war crimihais hanged at Nufeiiioerg. There will be one picture of each body, ineiuding Goering's, laid on its co'ffin, but there will be no pictures of the actual hanging. The Press Association states that the London Office of the Control Commission for Germany is nol issuing a photograph of the executed Nazis. A commission official said that the newsrecl and newspapers were being informed that ffie pictures were not to be published through British circles. because .it was felt that the British public feeling was against it. "We ar.e sure the British ptiblic do not want to see thenl." In Nui-emberg today, Sergeant John Woods, who executed the Nazi leaders anriounced that he war retiring. "I have hung my lasl man," ffie stated. Sergeant Woods, referring to th? job, said: "I don't think it is dishonourable, becaiise sonieoiie had to do it, but I've had enough." Sergeant Woods admitted that it would be risky to stay in Gefmany ifter executing the Nazis, and he vvas going home within the iiext ew days.
