On the evitieiice at preseut available the Nalioual Party was (T[)posed to- the ratifieation by New Zealaad of the Brettou Woods agreeiuent, said Mr. S. G. Holland, Leader of tlie Natioual Party, in his opening campaign address last night. There was a section of the lneiubers of the party, he added, who supported ratifieation, and they were within their rights in doing so. At a later stage when there was a fullei opportunity he would explain his own reasons for opposition to tlxe proposal.
