DISTRESSED PERSONS ON WAY TO BRITAIN
Received Sundav, 7 p.m. HAMBURG, Oet. 79. The first bateli of "distressed persons", including Germans and former slave workers, has left for Britain from Cuxhaven under the new scheme sponsorod by the Control Commission. They will be followed by weeklv batehes of 50 but the number may be inereased later. All must have invitations from relahives in Britain willing to snpport tliem.
