'There was no doubt -now that ladies' bowling had come to stay. The jack was thrown by Mrs. JBurdbkih, who was pfesente'd with h bouquet, and the first bowl was sent up by Mrs. W. L'ett, the club's life member. Tomorrow the following ladies are to attend at the opening of the Kilbirnie Ladies' Bowling Club: Mesdames Lett, Parton, Mi'tcheil, Gardner, Lacey and Hartstonge.
