LONDON, Oet. 14. An extehsiori ih the Bodleian Library at Oxford, costihg £1,009,000, will be Op'ened by the Kihg, aceompanied by the Qitee'n, on Octobef 24. The plans for extending the libfafy we'fe formed in 1925, whfen it was kfiowh that all available stofage Wottid be used within 10 yehfs. The extension will house 10,000,000 vdlumes. Much of the cost was contfibnte'd by the Roekefeller InStitute. It will be a long day far Their hfiajesties, who will leave London at ll.lO a.m., returning at 10.33 p.m.
