A UNA CARTER RECIPE These popular pastry squares are easy to make. Take 6 oz. Fether Flake Puff Pastry. (You buy it ready mixed, then JUST ROLL AND BAKE) . 3 oz. Chopped Apples; 3 oz. Cake Crumbs- I oz. sugar; 2 oz. seeded raisins; f teaspoon Vanilla Essence. Grated rind and juice of half a Lemon. 1 beaten egg. Roll the Fether-Flake out into a iSquare,.. Mix. •other; ingredients well •togethCr; spread lc^n one-half of pastc; fold over othcr half, Bake in a fairly hot oven for half ku hour .(reduce heat) . When cooked cut ;in .squares. , * . Fether-Flake is. freshly made jby Adams Bruce only- and kold straight from the refrigerator. Allow Fether-Flake to stand a vMile before using. Obtainable from the Adams Bruce Shop in.
