i Received Sundav, 7 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 13. j Five persons are dead as the resuit 1 of a running gun battle iu the black- | market area of Frankfurt, which started when German police questioned two . nien reported to be Poles, oue of whom shot a policeman dead. Another policenian and bystander were also shot dead nnd a spectator dropped dead from .sho.-k. One man juni[>ed into a small car which drove off. The other left .liehiiul connuitted suicide with a revylver. This man had three pistols, six sets of identitv papers, a number of watches and jewellery. The police arrested another gunman after a crowd of Gennans inobbed him.
