Private Biils which received Itoyal assent totalled four. Select Coniinittees sat on 22 occasions. Tlio total nutuber of petitions presented was 70, of which 52 were from Europeaxxs and 24- from Maoris. In the wliolo House there were seveu divisious during the session. Last session the House mct on 88 days and sat for 528 liours 50 minutes.
