WELLINGTON, Oct. 11. The Minister of Industries and Commerce, Hon. D. G. Sullivan, stated tonight that, with the improvement in supplies of ra w rubber for manufacturing camelback, it had been decided to revoke the control relating to the retreading and recapping of tyres. On and after Monday, Oetober 14, it will not be necessary for motgrists to obtain a permit for , . retreading their tyres, continued the Minister, and this decision should assist motorists to conserve their tyres until the supply position of new tyres becomes easier.
