Received Tuesdav, 8.30 p.m. TOKIO, Oct. 7. Japan did not really know she was defeated until she felt the Red Army's power, declared the Russiau prosecutor, Mr. S. Golunsky, when opening the Soviet's case at the War Crimes Trial. Mr. Golunsky, stressing the Soviet's role in the defeat of the Axis, said before she declared war on Japan, Russia maintained sucli armed strength in Siberia that the Japanese were unable to move any part of their Manchnrian army elsewhere on the Pacifie front.
