Total £950 In connection with the proposedJ loan, it iS proposed to borrow the said sum of £950 fdr a term bf thirty-five (35) years, at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. Provision for repaym'ent will be made by establishing a sinking fund, calculated on the amount raised, of not less than one pound eleven shillings and sixpence C£l/ll/6d). per centum per annum. As a security for the proposed loan, it is proposed to levy a special annual recurring rate of sevehteen four-hundredths of a penny (T7/400.ths.d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin. LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL Proposal to raise a Special Loan under "THe Local Rodies' Loalis Act, 1926/' pURSUANT to the provisions of Seetion iO of "Th6 Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926," notice is hereby giveh that the Levin Borough Council proposes to seek the consent of ratepayers to the raising of a Special Loan of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£12,500) for the following purposes, i.e.: For the carryihg out of improvements to the Streets and Footpaths in th'e Borough £9044 For Lhe purchase of machinery, plant and equipment £2500 For contingencies £956 Total £12500 In connection with the proposed loan it is proposed to borrow the said sum of £12,500 for a term of thirty (30) years, at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. Provision for yepayment will be made by establishing a sinking fund, calculated oh the amount raised, of not less than two pounds and four bence (£2/-/4d.) per centum per annum.
