T!he kjwi family at the farm now nqmbers four/ the first chick to be bprn and reared successfully in ..captivjty haying hatched out in September lasf ye.ar. Although too early y,et fpr sexing, it is helieved the latest chick -is a male hir.d, the previous bird being a fe'male. Another chick hatched J|i$t year fafied to supvive an attack of paralysis.
