UPSET IN EPSOM HANDICAP SYDNEY, Oct. ,6, The , greatest upset at Raudwick yesterday occurred when the „ odds-on favourite, Shannon,, was left 12 lengths at the start of the Epsom Handicap. Darby Munro rode Shannon maguilicently to come within half a liead of the wiimer Blue Legend. Sections o^- the crowd demonstrated against Muuro, but after the race the starter, Jack Gaxieu, .took full responsibility for tlie bad start. Uuexpectedly, Young Veilmond jumped away at the outset and led till Blue Legend came through on the rails.
