His f'uture in big cric.ket has been in doubt since he developed fibro sitis in 1942 and he has plaved in only three matches since January 1941. Last season he scored 08 and 52 not out for South Australia against Queensland, and 112 for South Australia against a Services team — his 93rd eentury in first-class criclcet.
