YAWL'S LONE VOYAGE ENDS

Received Sunday, 7.0 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 5. How a lone voyage to Australia in a b'un-.«made yawl ended by storm after three days' sailing, was told by Frederick Wright on reaching Nefv Tork aboard the freight®- which rescued him last Thursday uight. Wright, said the storm severely battered the yawl once washing him overboard and smashing the rudder. The freighter saw his plight and offered to replace the rudder to enable liim to continue his voyage but he elected to be taken aboard. Wright said he would not again try to sail to Australia. It was too lonesome. A marine coastguard found the abandoned yawl, towing it to port. Wright was the sole occupant of the yawl. ,
