Barber and advisory presidents N. Woodmass, G. Barber and W. Jellyman. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs. C. Lethbridge and D. Fuller. The minutes of the district committee meeting, recently held in Palmerston North, were read and discussed. On the motion of Mr. D. Williams, it was decided to invite Professor Webster, of Massey College, to address the club at its next meeting. Suitable advertising inviting all interested to attend the lecture is to be arranged in Shannon and Foxton. The club's financial statement was read and it was decided to hold a Paddy's Market at a later date. Several donations were made in connection with this suggestion. It was moved that an informal evening be held in the hall in about two weeks' time, to take the form of a debate. Arrangements were made to have two members in charge of the supper arrangements at each meeting.
