DOG PLAYS PRANK WITH TUBE TRAIN

A dog, variously described as a small brown, large white, and greyhound shaped, caused a disruption in tlie main northern line tube services by running for six iniles aliead of an underground train. The driver of the train first saw the dog at London 's Angel Station. He slowed the train, ,but the dog refused to leave the line and loped ahead of Ihe train t.hi'ough 10 more stops. At Clapham Common it suddenly jumped on to the platform and ran up the elevator to the street. Estimates show that the dog and the train covered six miles in 55 minutes.
