Tbe boycott by all trade unionists of firms employing union members on Saturday mornings, is being sougbt by a coinmittee of 13 organisations which is eampaigning for tbe abolition of Saturday morning worlc. Tbe committee represents "white collar" workers in retail stores, banks, insurance, sbipping and gas companies, warebouses, municipal and shire councils, and bairdressers. Tbe committee bas decided to approacb employers' organisations in an effort to convince them tbat Saturday work can be abolished and to take a gallup poll of public opinion.
