WELLINGTON, Oct. 4. Situation : A depression is moving eastwards across(the North Island and a wfedge of high pressure is over the Sottth Island. The fotecast to 5 p.nu on Saturday is for moderate southerly to south-easterly winds, fresh in exposed positions. Weather fair apart from a few scattered showers, chiefly in the high country. Moderate temperatiires. Further outlook: Mainly fair.
