WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. Delegates to the Wellington Swimming Centre were told at last night 's aunual meeting that there is somej likelihood of an indian swimming team visiting this countfy in the 194(5-47 season. In a letter to the New Zealand! Swim'ming Council, the National ,Swim-| ming Association of India offered to: send a team to New Zealand for halfj of the net profits of sueh a tour. Itj had examined New Zealand championship times and vva3 sure that Indians would offer stiff competition to New Zealand swimmers. The team would I pfobablv consist of members of one of the higher Tndian eastes. The meeting deelared itself in favour Of the proposal if a satisfactory financial agreement could bo renchod.
