PARAPARAUMU CRICKET CLUB REVIVED
At a well-attended meeting at Paraparaumu recently, it wasunanimously decided to revive the Paraparaumu Cricket Club after its being in recess since 1939. Mr. C. B. Reeve was in the chair. Several old members of the club were present and all are : • enthusiastic to start. The club's finanees show a credit of £11, and since- lthe meeting several donations havfe beeri received." The f ollowing: officers were elected for the coming ' season:— Patron: Mr. Wylie; president: Mr. C. C. Higginson; vicer-presidents : Messrs. E. Brazier, G. H. Hadfield, P. A. Howell, W. Cromb, R. Caterer, E. Debreceny, A. Hardham, H. Fitton and Gould; chairman of the committee: Mr. C. B. Reeve; secretary-treasurer: Mr. G. H. Weggery.
