Mrs. M. Wojcik (nee Pat O'Connor) arrived recently at Auckland by Clipper from -the United States for a visit to her parents in Levin. She will stay in New Zealand while Captain Wojcik is on sea duty. The Minister of Agriculture announced last night that the Governor-Genera! had appointed' Mr. David Allan, o'f Wellington, to be a Government representative on the Meat Producers' Board, replacing the late Mr. A. E. Hardmg.
