FEARED DROWNED

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 29. No hope is entertained tonight for the safety of Mr. Harold Davidson Millar, aged 48, siugle, who was last seen on the shore of Lake Ellesmere j about 3 p.m. on Tuesday. It is feared that Mr. Millar lost his life when he was thrown from his horse into a deep pool on the narrow spit between the lake and the sea near Taumutu.
