Received Sunday, 7 ji.m. DUBLIN, Sept. 28. Rev. Edward Yaruh, vicar of Holy Trinity, Blackburn, Lancashire, was ■committed for trial when cliarged .at Mullingar, County West Meath", Eire, witli taking by force the two-year-old Kevin Isherwood and intending to deprive liis motlier of him. It was stated in evidence tliat a Roinan Catholic priest baptised Kevin after birth jn Eire, thus displeasing thechild's father. Kevin, two months later, was baptised by a Protestant clergyman in the Holy Trinity Chtircli. Rev. Varah, when he met Mrs. Isherwood at Mullingar recently, told her the child's father wanted him back in England. He gave Mrs. Isherwood a letter tp read. While she was doing so he lifted the child from its prara, ran to a waiting car, and jiuslied the mother away when she ran after him. A police sergeant read a statement allegedly written by ''Rev. Yarali, in whicli he said his sole object was to reunite husband and wife.
