All is now ready i'or the two-day session at whicli the Judges of four nations will take turns at reading, firstly, a long review of the hearings; secondly, the verdiets and reasons for these; thirdly, the sentenees. The pidoners' wives and families last evening said goodhyes. They will not be perniitted again to visit the cells before the verdicts are pronouiiced. It is not yet known whether or not visits will be perniitted before the sentenees are carried out, The Allied Control Council has been preparing the Germans for the elimax to the trials. The judgments and sentenees will be broadeast by all radio stations and newspapers will publish speeial editions. rJJhe eontrollers of all radio stations have agreed not to broadeast. "Valhalla" music. Wagner and jazz have been banned for the duration of the judgment days. The radios will concentrate 011 light classieal musie. The only persons other than the Tribunal with prior knowledge. oi' the verdiets, are twelve typists who have prepared four language copies oi the 180,000 word judgments. The last draniatic nionient of.' the Nuremberg trial is expeeted 011 the afternoon of Oetober 1 when Lord Justiee Lawrence calls the nanie of nuiril>er-.one prisoner, Goering. All the del'endants are charged under the first e.ount of the indietment allegiug partieipation in a eommon plan or conspiraey. Kalteubruiuiei', Frank, Streielier, von Sehirneh, Fritzche and Borniann are excluded Iroin the seeond count alleging erinies against pcaee and treaty violations. Sohaeht, von Papen, von Sehirach and Streielier are excluded froni the third oonnt, tliat dealing with the eonunission of war erimes. Sehaeht, von Papen, Doenitz and Paeder are excluded from the fourth and last eounl, tliat dealing with erimes against humanity. Lord Justiee Lawrence, after giving Ihe verdiets against the individuals, will give the Tribunal's deeision in the eases against Xa z i o rgaii isat ions.
