Blonde, blue-eyed Angela Lansbury has. token Hollywood by storm. Born in Landon, she arrived in America in 1940 during the height of the blitz. She made her screen debut three years later as the insolent Cockney maid in "Gaslight." a performance which brought her an Academy Nomination and a contract. She followed it up with the part of the sweet young singer in "The Picture of Dorian Gray." and will next be seen as the dancehall gueen and Judy Garland's rival in "The Harvny Girls."
