TRUCK STRIKES TREE

Received Fridav, 8.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 27. Three soldiers were killed and 12 injured when a military truck erashed into a trec at Wallangarra on the Queensland border. The men, who were being transported from the railway station, were within 200 yards of their destination when the crash occurred. The truck collided head on with the tree and then overturned.
