PIANOFORTE EXAM PASSES
At the practical pianoforte examinations conducted at the Levin Convent by Mr. Page, examiner for the Trinity CoHege, all of Mrs. R. R. Lind's eight pupils were successfui. One passed with honours and four obtained merit awards. The results were": — ^Intermediate: Ruth Stevenson, Tokomaru, 72 marks. Junior: Joan Swindl'ehurst, 76 (merit) ; Stewart Alexander, 70. Preparatory: Roy Miers, 73. Initial : Nelson Spiers, Foxton, 85 (honours) ; Donald Spiers, Foxton, 78 (merit) ; Gina McEwan, 77 (merit) ; Molly Hind, 75 (merit) .
