The youth said that late last year Arniv Public Relations accredited him as a war correspondent for English and ('anaditui aviatiou journals. A serviee aircraft then flew him to Morotai, Lalnian, Singapore and Darwin and btick to Meibounie. Last February he flew to Hong Kong, travelled by Roval Navv cruiser to Slianghai and stayed there as the guest of tlie Australian Legation and honorary attaehe to the Australian Minister. After buying an American uniform he visited "Chungking aiul Tokio and returned to Australia. Later he went by Koyal Navv ships to Colombo and England, return ing bv B.O.A.C. airliner in a seat specially reserved by a public relations ollicer of tlie R.A.F.
