He now cmploys 6000 miners. j The largest diamond so far fotuid was I of 135 carats. j Tho mine is at Mwaudi, 16 miles from i bhinyanga. Production this year is I vaiued at £2,000,000. Eight hiuidrod ! tons are handled daily but new mal chinery will increase it to 2000 tons. J Dr. Williamson owns 299 of the 400 sliares in the mine. His brother Percy owns 100 and the remaining share is locally owned, The Daily Mail's correspondent deciibes Dr. Williamson, who is 40 and unmarried, as "potentionally the world' s richest man".
