THURSDAY AND FRIDAY Devotees of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are in for another visual treat, for Universal has filmed his, exciting Sherlock holmes mystery, "The Adventures of the Five Orange Pips," adapting it into a movie called "The House of Fear," which opens tomorrow at the Civic Theatre. "The House of Fear," costarring Basil Rathbone and Nigel : Bruce as Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, resp.ectively, is an exciting film. The second attraction, "Power of ; the Press," starring Guy Kibbee , afid Gloria Dickson, is a new kind of thrill, a powerful kind of dpama, !- r difiercnt kind cf adventurej It's big! It's powerful!
