Tlie 37-ton yawl Tlie Nebula, at present lying in dock 5»t Dover, is due to sail 011 October 2 for New Zealand by way of the Madieras, I'anama and Society Islands. Travelling as passengers are Misses Nora Mason, of Elstree, Winifred Styles, of London, and Joyee Ooliison, of Tankerton, all of whoni want to settle in New Zealand. Miss Styles is a viola player in tlie B.B.O. concert orchestra and hopes t(. give concerts in the Doininion. The skipper of the yawl, Air. T. Johnson, of Burley, intends to drop his passengers and then trade among the Bacific islands. Oue of his ehief olqer tives is to obtain lortoise sliell whicli is now bringing over £5 per pound on the London niarket compared with 5s 7d before the war. He is also connnis sioned by the Kensington Natural His tory museum to bring baek specimens of the rare Hawlcsbill turtle. Three anuiteur yachtsmen, Alichael Macdonald, of (!ork, James Black, a fornier officer in tlie Royal Engineers. and Daiiiel Carr, forestry worker, com prise the crew togetlicr with Johnson 's 13-year-old son. Air. Mitchell Hedges the well-known author, is advising Johnson on' the route and arrangements.
