Received Thursday, 10.45 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 25. It is officially announced from Jerusalem .that. 108 Jewish detainees have been released from Rafa detention camp, thirty-eight from Latrun and two women from Bethlehem prison. Releases aurmg in. week were speeded up to enabk the detainees to rejoin their families for the coming Jewish feasts. It is also announced that a civ- - ilian accidentally stumbled on a huge arms cache at Ramai Yshanan settlement, near Haifa The police and military removec three mortars, 75 rnortar bombc quantities of explosives, grenadesmall arms and thousands o .•ounds of ammunition. Jews Decline Invitation The Inner Zionist Council has decided that under present circu^-i. stances the Jewish Agency wou not accept the British invitation ti attend the London Palestine C011 ference. The decision was reachec after six hours of lively debate says the Associated Press Jerusalem correspondent. The meeting also decided to protest against thi further detention of Jewish leaders, all members agreeing that with leaders in detention, it was impossible to participate in the Londor talks. The official statement, confirming the refusal to attend under present circumstances, added that the council had empowered tht jxecutive to continue its efforts tc create such conditions as were essential for the Jev/ish Agency T participation. When this result was achieved the council would again meet to consider the situation ana decide afresh. A minority favourcd an outright refusal to attend.
