MEETING AT KOPUTAROA The monthly meeting of the Koputaroa Wcmen'G Institute was held recently, with Mrs. Koberstein presiding over a fair attendance of members. - ' Two interesting letters were read from the link in England, than.i.ng the institute for parcels which had been sent. During the afternoon Mrs. Barrie was presented with a gift, as In future she will not be able to attend the meetings. The competition, a vase of fiowtrs for senior and junior alike, ^esulted as follows: — Senior: Mrs. Sanson 1, Mrs. Hood 2, Mrs. Pene 3. Junior: Joan McLaughlin 1. Audrey Storey won the junior : brooch and Mrs. Lancaster the enior, while Miss C. Koberstein won the shrub brooch. A dainty afternoon tea was ;erved by the hostesses, Mrs. Iddnell and Misses Koberstein and Fitzgerald, and the singing of the Naticnal Anthem brought the afternoon's proceedings to a close. .
