WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. The PostmasterTGeneral, Mr. Webb, announced today th,e impencung retirement; of the DixectorGenerai of the Post Ofiice, MA H. M. Patrick, M.V.O. He will he succeeded by Mr. R. N. ^Cryer,' now Deputy Direcfor-G.e.nergl. Mr. C. O. .Goa1d, now sepond Deputy Director-General, 3yill beco,me Deputy Director-G.eneral and Mr. £i. A. Munden, diyision'al director, will be second Deputy DirectorGeneral. Mr. J. Simpson, chief inspector, will be.come divisional director and Mr. W. D. P'. Norris, chief postmaster at Wellington, will become chief inspector.
