Mr. C. C. Holmes said that he thought there were three elasses of buyer in England who would take eseh elass oi meat in their turn. Mr. Clirystall: It is a question of supply and demand. It was pointed out to the meeting that New Zealand at the present time' was enjoying a protected market but that things would not be quite so bright when the world inarkets werh throwir open. Then New Zealand would have to supply what England wanted. If she wanted third elass meat it would have to be supplied, and it would be better for this class to remain o.n the export scheclule permanently. It was eertainly a question of supply and demand, ancf it could be fairl'y certain that the prices would right themselves. On being put to the meeting, it was unanimously resolved that the head office of Federated Farmers be asked 1 ' that third grade meat be pefmanently niaintained on the export sehedule. " A rem.it from the DOminion meat and wool produce section executive suggested to provincial execu-tives "that the niethod of electing on the ward system of the electoral committee of the Meat Board be done away with and that the Meat Board ultimately be responsible to and elected by the meat and wool section of Federated Farmers. " It was resolved that fhe remif be sup-' ported.
