Received Sunday, 7 p.m. GUAM, Sept. 21. A 100 miles an hour typhoon hit Guarn early today, tremendously damaging military installations. No immediate reports of casualties amoug the Army, Navy and Marine personnel, are availahle but many sections of the island are isolated beeause of smashed communications. Huge huts were unroofed and most vehicles wrecked. Many women and children were sent to safety before the typhoon 's full fuxy was felt, the garrisons placed on emergenecy rations, and all flyable plan,es sent to Palau. Ships were ordered to sea yesterday. Weather oflieials fear that Rota, Tinian and Saipan were hard hit.
