General MeNarney lias announced that the undergrouml trek of refugees across Euro])e to Palestine, is almost at a staudstill as the result of Britain's elamping dowri on illegal inimigrants. The movement across Gennany. to all intents and purposes, is stopped. The chairman of the Ilebrew Comniittee of National Liberation, Air. Samuel Berlin, stated in Paris he was very surprised at ArcNarney 's c'a: ment and lioped it would be immedialeiv witlulrawn. "1 don't think anything. The Jews are getting through," he said. Reuter's correspondent says the Committee of National Liberation lias icknowledged afliliatioii with Irgun Zvai Leumi.
