TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MATINEE TUESDAY 2 P.M.
Hello, folks! This is your radio movie critic, bringing you my transcribed impression of "Silver Skates" . . . the most dazzling ice spectacle ever filmed. I've seen many ice skating pictures before, but here is a motion picture that is truly different . . . bringing to the screen for the first time the beautiful, dazzling Belita, Queen of the Ice. I sat in amazement as the screen revealed the grace and smoothness of this glamorous star of "Silver Skates." And though Belita made me hold my breath, I looked with the same degree of wonderment upon two eight-year-old stars of the ice performing feats of almost^ unbelievable beauty and charm.* As if this weren't enough, the golden voice of radio's singing star, Kenny Baker, singing love songs to beautiful Patricia Morison, all added to my entertainment pleasure. I can truthfully say, without hesitation, that Monogram's "Silver Skates" will delight you! Selected supporting programme.
