NEW PASSENGER CARGO LINE FOR PACIFIC
(Received Sundav, 7 p.m. VANCOUVKR, Sept. 21. A new passenger-cargo sliip service between Australia, New Zealand, the Orient and the Pacific Coast, is ]>lanned by W. R. Carpenter, Limite.d. The com pany will inaugurale the service at the end of iSeptember with tho Rabaul which carries 12 passengers. A second ship, the Lautoka, will enter the service at the end of November or early De cember. Two more ships will be aequired and the service will operate bi-monthly- bet-weeu Yancouver, other Pacific Coast points, Australia, Ne.w Zealand ahd perhaps other South Pacifiq areas, -Pliilippines- and Ghina. 'Cargbes rrom the Pacific will be primarily c.oprd for Carpenter 's factories at Yancouver."
