CRASHED AIRLINER REACHED
Received Friday, 3 0 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 10. A search party at 7 p.m. reached the scene of the crashed Sabena tiaus Atlantie airliner near (lauder Lake but the failure of the radio communication prevented the tiansmissipn of details of what was found. The party only re ported that the plane was burned out except for the tail sectiou and that it had pre]iared to evacuate tlie survivors tomorrow. Tlie numlier of tlie survivors was not given but it is believed to^ be at least tive and possibly seveu or eight. The survivors are all appareiu ly in fair eonditioh. Earlier seen from the air, the arrival of the rescue party brought a climax to spectacular operations bv expeditions, some of which travcllcd by plane and rubber boat and then made their way th rough forest on i'oot. (A Belgian plane, carrviiig 07 passen gers and a crew of seveu, was yesterdnv reported nverdue in Newfourulhtiu: from Europe.)
