MINIATURE RIFLES
WEEKLY SHOOT The weekly shoot of the Shannon Miniature Rifie Club was held in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday evening. There was a good gathering of members and shooting was of a high standard. Mr. J. Lucinsky was top of the senior section with a score of 98, which is excellent shooting, being only two points under the possible. The iadies were again present in force and some very good targets were returned. Miss G. Chester was top of the iadies' section with 66 points. P. Wilkinson led the junior section with 64 points. Wilson 88 and N. Batt 76. i Following the completion of the shoot, a general meeting was held and it was decided to hold a welcome home dance to those members I who had served in the forces overj seas. Combined with the dance would be the presentation . of tro'phies vvon during the season. . Thursday, .October 17; was set down as the proposed date for the functlon. •
