Beeause of pillaging on the wharves it Siiigapore, the shipment of Australian eargoes to that port had_ been lerayed about two months, said the secretary of the Australian Exporters- | Federation, Mr. A. J. R. Birch, today. Australian exports valued at many thou- , sands of pounds had already been pillaged this year. To restrict the thieves, Siiigapore officials would not allow more eargoes to be landed until the overcrowded wharves had been cleared.
