Received Friday, 11.30 a.m. JERUSALEM, Sept. 19. A Zlonist inner Council meeting today eonsidered the matter of sending delegates from the Jewish Agency to the London conference on Palestine, but adjourned withoiit reaching a decision. Before the meeting a spokesman said there might be diflerences of opinion within the movement, but not on the major points, which were, firstly, that the Jews must be free to select their own representatives for the conference, and, secondly, that they will only join in the talks provided Mr. Morrison's plan for a federation for all practical purposes is dropped. The British Government had already been told that it was impossible for one agency executive member to sit at the conference while a fellow member, Moshe Shertok; was held in Latrun Camp. The Zionist riewspaper Haboker said the possibilities of- Jewish participation in the conference are now very real. The Stern Gang has issued posters denouncing the President of the Jewish Agency, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, and the chairman of the Jewish Agency, Dr. Ben-Gurion, declaring/ that they were not speaking for the people of Palestine.
