They are expected to tuni bare lands into pastures again and save scores of thousands of slieep. Falls averaging two inches, the best- for 12 months, have already been recorded over an area Stretc-hing from the northern N tablelands far out on to tlie plains. Further rain is expected and meteorologists say that the drought can now be eonsidered broken.
