INVERCARGILL, Sept. 18. Darcy Hoft'man, 12.6, Invercargill, knocked out Norman Ross, 11.9, Bluff, in the ninth of a ten-round professionai boxing eontest tonight. Ross was knocked off his feet nine tinies in eight rounds. Hoffman is a merchant navy seaman just return ed from Englahd where he had considerable success in professionai bouts.
